This is a selection of glass photographs. The pictures have been arranged by country of origin rather than by colour or function, for no apparent reason at all. No attempt has been made to sort these glasses by age, style, or period. The reason why a glass features on this page is
the availability of a scannable picture - not the uniqueness or rarity of
featured objects. The choice is not representative of a country's output. What all these glasses have in common is their
European origin, and the fact that they were made in the past 200
